THOMAS GAVEGLIO CO-FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER
Thomas, one of the founding partners of HomeTown Property Group, has more than 10 years of experience in real estate finance, development, and asset management operations. As Managing Partner, he primarily formulates investment strategies; sources and executes acquisition deals; monitors asset performance and compliance on all assets in our portfolio.
Prior to launching HomeTown Property Group, Thomas was VP of Finance for Kushner Companies where he oversaw the accounting/tax/finance departments for over $4 billion in Real Estate assets including 30,000 residential apartments and over 20 million sq ft. in commercial space. Thomas also headed up investor relations for these assets. Preceding Kushner Companies, Thomas was a Manager with Sax LLP, a public accounting/consulting firm. Thomas oversaw audits and consulting engagements for real estate, construction and hedge fund clients.
Thomas graduated with Honors from Rowan University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and a Specialization in Finance.
RYAN MARCHINI CO-FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER
Ryan is one of the founding Partners of HomeTown Property Group. With over 12 years' experience in real estate management and leasing , Ryan has proven to excel in both commercial and residential management.
Prior to HomeTown, Ryan was the CEO of Southern Property Management, a real estate management firm that manages over $150 million in assets nationwide. Prior to running Southern Property Management, Ryan was VP of leasing for a consulting firm that controlled T-Mobile and Verizon leasing throughout the New York City market.
Ryan graduated from Rider University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and then went on to continue his Graduate Studies in Business Administration at Louisiana State University. Additionally, Ryan holds his Real Estate license in New Jersey.
René Zemp, PhD - CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
René is the COO of HomeTown Property Group and
has over 25 years' experience in real estate management and investment. René has a proven track record in successfully managing both commercial and residential properties in multiple countries and several states within the US.
Prior to HomeTown, René was a VP of Operations at Kushner/Westminster Management, a real estate owner and management firm that manages over 30,000 apartments and commercial units nationwide. Before joining Kushner/Westminster, René managed real estate portfolios for RELATED Management and Avison Young. He has expertise in due diligence, transition, and management of large real estate portfolios.
René graduated summa cum laude from the University of Leipzig (Germany) with a PhD in Business Administration, Economics, and Real Estate Management. Additionally, René is a published author.
BRYAN CHEN - CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Bryan is currently the Chief Financial Officer for HomeTown Property Group with a demonstrated history working in the real estate/property management industry. Prior to joining HomeTown, Bryan was with Kushner Companies, where he worked collaboratively with the senior management team to provide financial strategic vision of assets located throughout the United States. Bryan oversaw the accounting and finances for approximately 8,000 residential/commercial/retail units and worked closely with investors on all financial aspects of the properties. He has expertise in implementing processes and procedures to improve financial reporting and cash management. Bryan graduated with Honors from Farleigh Dickinson University where he received both his Bachelors and Masters Degree in Accounting.
DANIELLE PELLEGRINO - DIRECTOR OF RESIDENTIAL MANAGEMENT
Danielle is currently the Director of Residential Management for HomeTown Property Group with a focus on tenant and vendor relations. Previous to HomeTown, Danielle was head of Property Management for Southern Property Management, a real estate management firm that handled over $150 million in assets nationwide. She currently works between New Jersey and the Southeastern United States with HomeTown's on-site managers to keep each property running at their full potential.
ROBERT SESSA - DIRECTOR OF COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT - NORTH
Bob joins the HomeTown team as the Director of Commercial Management – North. As a 30-year industry veteran, Bob has a vast knowledge of property management, leasing, purchases, and sales. His diverse skill set, and proven leadership abilities has enabled him to oversee the operations for a large portfolio of commercial buildings in Northern New Jersey and Manhattan. Prior to joining HomeTown, Bob was with McBride Corporate Real Estate as a Partner and President of Property Management for 20+ years. Bob graduated from Wagner College with a BS in Economics and is ACoM certified by the Institute of Real Estate Management in Chicago.
COLIN CAMPBELL - DIRECTOR COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT - SOUTH
Colin has been involved in Real estate development, management and commercial leasing for over 35 years. He was Reginal President at Sizeler Real Estate Management Company based in Florida in the 1980's and 90's before focusing on starting his own brokerage in the early 2000's. Colin excels in development, retail site selection, leasing and management. His expertise includes leasing on local, regional and national levels. Colin now uses his vast experience to maximize HomeTown's commercial portfolio.
BRENDAN BANNIGAN - OUTSIDE GENERAL COUNSEL
Brendan is an experienced real estate transactional attorney, well versed in residential and commercial real estate transactions. Negotiated and closed over $200 million dollars' worth of multifamily and commercial developments throughout the country. Brendan has substantial experience advising both public and private real estate companies in the acquisition, disposition and management of real estate and has developed an expertise in due diligence reviews for both multifamily and commercial developments.
Prior to contributing at HomeTown Property Group, Brendan was an Associate Attorney with the Office of the New York State Attorney General’s Office, lender’s counsel for the Homeless Housing and Assistance Corporation and Associate Counsel for the Albany Housing Authority.
Brendan graduated Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Albany with a Bachelor's degree in Classical History and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. Brendan is admitted to the New York State Bar.
